The Garden and Nursery are not open to the general public
Appointments only for visiting the Hyacinthella National Collection. A donation is asked for local chosen charity, St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.

Buckland Cottage Gardens was established in early 2025 alongside my part-time role at the family business, LongAsh Garden Centre, Yelverton.
My interest in horticulture began more than ten years ago with growing Daphnes and alpines as a personal hobby. Since then, it has grown into an extensive collection of miniature bulbs and an expanding hybridisation programme focused on Daphnes, Cyclamen, and miniature bulbs.
My passion for horticulture sees my involvement in several specialist horticultural charities and groups. I currently serve on the committee of the Exeter Alpine Garden Society group, act as a trustee and treasurer for The Cyclamen Society, U.K representative for The International Geraniaceae Group and committee member for the Species Iris Group. In addition, I am a member of the RHS Alpine and Rock Garden Expert Group.
